During October 1993, in Operation Gothic Serpent, my Black Hawk helicopter was hit by an RPG and crashed in Mogadishu, Somalia. You might know my story from the movie Black Hawk Down. When I was captured and held as a Prisoner of War, I heard the voice and promise of Dan Jollotta broadcast from the sky. He was up there calling out to me. Searching desperately for me, he knew that he was flying above a hornet's nest of RPGs and could get himself shot down at any second, but he just didn’t give a damn. I will never forget his words because they serve as a constant reminder that no man gets left behind. No matter what, we will never abandon our men and women. That’s something Joe Biden needs to learn right now. I sat down with Dan, almost 30 years later, to record a special interview with him.
After watching the Biden administration desert our core principles, I decided to jump in the race for the U.S. Senate. I can’t sit by on the sidelines while Joe Biden and Career Politicians abandon our allies (along with American citizens), cower to the influence of China and Russia, and let the Radical Left open our borders and fundamentally redefine what America stands for.
