Monthly giving is the easiest and most effective way for you to help accelerate our transition to a U.S. with net zero climate pollution.
That’s because we have a plan - developed by climate scientists and policy experts with decades of experience - to slash U.S. greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030, and achieve a net zero emissions economy by 2050. It includes three main components:
- Modernizing our inefficient and antiquated energy system, ensuring that electric power in the U.S. is 100% clean no later than 2035;
- Accelerating our transition to electric cars, trucks and buses by partnering with automakers, states, and local governments; and
- Putting the brakes on climate change by immediately reducing methane pollution, a highly potent greenhouse gas responsible for 25% of the measurable warming we’re already experiencing today.
This is a bold plan to transform the U.S. economy from top to bottom, and it won’t be easy. But we believe it is possible - and we know we will get results if we succeed in implementing these top priority actions.
