Whether it's mail from a grandchild or a life-saving medication, people across the country rely on the U.S. Postal Service. Yet burdensome requirements have made it more difficult for the agency to provide efficient and reliable service, particularly in rural communities.

That's why I worked across the aisle to pass the Postal Service Reform Act. This bipartisan legislation will improve the agency's long-term financial stability, ensure reliable and timely deliveries, and support postal workers. And the best part is, it's headed to the President's Desk. 

I'm pleased that Republicans and Democrats could come together to strengthen the Postal Service, which provides a vital service for millions of Americans.
