Dem AGs prevent corporations from exploiting your community.
Friend,
Picture this: You come home from a long day of work, open the fridge and decide that tonight’s going to be a delivery night. But when you go to check out, you find a $7 service charge tacked onto your bill. That came out of nowhere!
Delivery apps are using these sort of deceptive "bait-and-switch" tactics to increase profits at the expense of their customers. But Democratic AGs are taking action to hold them accountable. These companies are accused of lying to consumers about what services they are and aren’t paying for. That’s why D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine is going after a major delivery app for deceiving District residents with misleading information about local restaurants and the reality of their fees.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, we need your support – will you chip in today?
