For the past month, the world has watched in collective horror as Russia invades Ukraine. In the midst of this abhorrent conflict, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been an inspiration to so many, including myself.

As a fellow Jewish man and entertainer, it’s been awe-inspiring to witness Zelenskyy defend his country on the world stage. He is leading his nation with conviction and courage, but as recently as three years ago, Zelenskyy was starring in TV shows and comedy specials. (Never quite got my own comedy special but I am still a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.)

President Zelenskyy’s remarkable performance leading his nation through the worst of times shows that we need all kinds of people to step up and lead — including people we might not typically expect — like entertainers!

I’m not a traditional politician either. I’m a comedian, actor, video producer, and activist who cares about his community and knows that good people need to step up and run for office.

So while I may not be your typical career politician, I know that my entertainment background will serve me well in Washington. John, can you please chip in $5 to my grassroots campaign so we can send a different kind of leader to fight for Florida’s 15th District in DC?
