I wanted to reach out to you personally to share some exciting news: Last month, we secured $2M for affordable housing in Santa Monica and $1.5M for our unarmed response team in Los Angeles!







I first ran for office to serve working families in California and across the country, and that continues to drive everything I do in Congress. I’m proud to be a leader on the crucial issues we’re facing -- including fighting for bold housing policy and solutions that truly keep our communities safe.



We’re transforming an old parking garage into mixed-use affordable housing to support families experiencing homelessness and ensure that working families have safe, livable, and affordable housing. Additionally, we’re funding the Crisis and Incident Response through Community-Led Engagement (CIRCLE) program to respond more effectively and safely to the homelessness crisis.



This is what we mean when we say that we need to build cities and neighborhoods that work for our communities -- and it’s what’s possible with the proper investment.



I am so proud to be a consistent advocate for working families in Congress -- and I’m thrilled by the real change we’re making together.
