But because the U.S. isn't a part of the ICC, the U.S. government is not able to defend our soldiers. It's up to us to defend their interests.
We must defend those who defend our freedoms each and every day.
I will be leading a senior team of lawyers, through our European affiliate, to the ICC in just days to present oral arguments at what is essentially the ICC's Supreme Court to defend the interests of our soldiers.
