Our soldiers - our brave heroes in the war on terror - face an insidious threat that could send shockwaves through the military.

In less than two weeks, I will be standing before the International Criminal Court's highest chamber of judges making the biggest international oral argument of my career.

The ICC's Prosecutor is seeking to investigate our brave men and women in the military for alleged war crimes. It has no legal right to do this. The U.S. is not even a member of the ICC.

But because the U.S. isn't a part of the ICC, the U.S. government is not able to defend our soldiers. It's up to us to defend their interests.

We must defend those who defend our freedoms each and every day.

I will be leading a senior team of lawyers, through our European affiliate, to the ICC in just days to present oral arguments at what is essentially the ICC's Supreme Court to defend the interests of our soldiers.

When our military is at risk, we MUST ACT. And I'm asking you to join me.
