“Only one leading Republican candidate for governor in the most competitive states this cycle has said that the 2020 election was legitimate.” [1]

I’m up against 15 Republican opponents this year – the most in at least six decades – and several of those candidates say the 2020 election was illegitimate.

I’m facing a slate of MAGA candidates that are doubling down on pushing Trump’s Big Lie.

We are facing some of the most far-right, fringe candidates in the country here in Nevada’s race for the governor’s seat.

One MAGA candidate was at the January 6th insurrection on the U.S. Capitol. Several candidates loudly support claims of election fraud, despite it being thoroughly debunked. Some refuse to say that Joe Biden is the President.

As governor, I’ve faced relentless efforts by Donald Trump and state Republicans to suppress the vote and undermine our democracy.

I’ll continue the fight against these candidates because I’ll continue to fight for our democracy, and fight to be a voice for Nevadans, not Donald Trump.
