The Henry A. Quinn Charitable Foundation has agreed to match every donation up to $85,000 in honor of World Autism Awareness Day - and there are only a few hours left to DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!
Your gift enables Autism Speaks to continue its vital mission work and ensure that children like Leah, can reach their full potential.
By 18 months, her mom noticed that Leah was missing some developmental milestones. She was not speaking any words, would not imitate and her eye contact was incredibly low. After she turned 2, she began walking on her tip toes, stimming, flapping her hands and stacking objects. With the help of early intervention Leah has shown great improvement with her communication and social skills. She is a fast learner, is great at matching games, peg puzzles and stacking blocks. She also has well developed gross motor skills and is becoming quite a gymnast.
Her mom credits having a strong support group and the resources and support of Autism Speaks with helping her family through their journey. She sees the diagnosis of her daughter not as a label, but as source for her to receive all the help that she needs to keep improving and developing.
Your support ensures that Autism Speaks can continue to provide the resources and programs that all children and adults with autism need to thrive. Resources like the Autism Care Network, a first and only learning health system of its kind driving rapid and significant effects for improved care and quality of life and reach.
I hope we can count on you to help make the most of this limited World Autism Awareness Month offer to have your donation make TWICE the difference for people with autism.
Thank you for being part of their future - a future that's bright because of YOU!
Match applies only to donations made through the online form. Does not apply to previous donations, donations made offline or donations made to other fundraising campaigns.
If you have already made a World Autism Month donation to us, thank you so very much.
