Lesko Stands Up for Parents Making Medical Decisions for their Children

Image

To prevent minors from receiving COVID-19 vaccines without first obtaining parental consent, I cosponsored Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler’s (R-WA-13) Protecting Parental Rights Act. Parents should have the final say when it comes to their children’s medical decisions!

GET THE FACTS: The Federal Reserve's Preferred Inflation Gauge Jumped by 6.4% in February

Joe Biden did it again. In February, the personal consumption expenditures price index (PCE), which is the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge, jumped by a whopping 6.4%. This is a 40-year high. Despite this, Democrats continue their inflationary spending. Arizonans are feeling the pain of skyrocketing inflation from the gas pump to the grocery store and they know that Democrats are to blame.

Casework Highlight

A constituent contacted our office for assistance in obtaining his IRS Tax Refund. After our office reached out to the IRS, it was determined the refund had been issued but was stuck in a third-party holding bank and had not been released to the constituent. We were able to get the hold removed and the constituent received his refund.

Encouraging Story

I am pleased to share this story about high school students from Mesa, Arizona, raising over $3,000 to help Ukrainian refugees. When these students heard about the Russia-Ukraine conflict, they were so moved that they decided to take action and help those affected. I am very proud of these students for stepping up to help the courageous Ukrainian people during this dark time.
