Ghost guns are one of the fastest growing threats to gun safety, which is why thousands of our supporters have urged the ATF to take action. These untraceable firearms are showing up at more crime scenes across the country—including in school shootings. And because they can be bought in kit form with no background check and no questions asked, they've become a weapon of choice for criminals and gun traffickers.

Only nine states have some form of law regulating ghost guns. And with these dangerous firearms appearing in more communities across the country, more people are being shot and killed every day.

Last year, the federal government proposed a rule that will thwart the spread of ghost guns. But the work is far from over—we need the ATF to finalize that rule immediately, implement it, and do its job to stop this national crisis.

Read our latest blog to make sure you know the facts on ghost guns and are ready to take action in your community.

Together, we can end gun violence.
