HEY, John!

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Jordan, and I’m John Fettermans’s Cannabis
Coalition Director.

Today, I’m coming to you with a major announcement. Yesterday, the U.S
House passed the MORE Act to decriminalize weed. AMAZING, right?

Except… we already know that the Senate isn’t going to vote the same way
(if they even bring this up for a vote at all).

There are a MILLION reasons why I 100% believe John should be the next
U.S. Senator from PA, but right now, my number one reason is this:

John would be the 51st vote the Senate needs to decriminalize weed in the
United States. Unlike flip-flopping Conor Lamb, who voted for the very
legislation he voted AGAINST in the last Congress, you’ll never have to
guess where John stands on legalizing weed.

for legal weed and an end to the racist War on Drugs. So what do you
say, John, will you chip in
$4.20 — or ANY amount — to support our fight to send John to the U.S.
Senate?

This isn’t an issue John has had to “evolve” on,
John.

First, back in 2016 when other Democrats running for Senate in PA were
afraid to go bold on the issue of legal weed, John was a lone voice for
full legalization of marijuana, regardless of any political consequences.

Then, in 2018, John *again* chose to make legal weed a key campaign
priority in his race for Lt. Governor — something that most other
Democrats usually shy away from to this day. (BTW, he and Governor Wolf
went on to earn the highest number of votes ever won as a ticket in a
Pennsylvania gubernatorial election.)

Now, in his current role as Lt. Governor, John has established an
expedited review process for pardons for low-level cannabis charges. These
pardons have helped hundreds of deserving Pennsylvanians get their lives
back after unjust, racist, and inhumane drug policies ripped them away.

Look, most Senate candidates don’t make legal weed a central part of their
campaign platform, but John has. Because it’s not just about making weed
safe and accessible for medicinal and recreational use. It’s about
righting the racial injustice of Black Americans being nearly 4x more
likely than white Americans to be arrested for marijuana.

[ [link removed] ]Will you help us send John Fetterman to the U.S. Senate so we can
finally decriminalize weed, end the racist War on Drugs, and make this
country a little bit greener? 🌿
