Look, we love a humorous email with a catchy GIF as much as the next guy (maybe more), but this isn’t one of those emails.
This is a serious message about what’s at stake if Sen. Reverend Raphael Warnock loses in November. (If you’re already fired up, please pitch in now to the Democratic Party of Georgia as we gear up to protect Sen. Reverend Warnock’s seat against Donald Trump's handpicked candidate.)
Our wins in Georgia in November 2020 and January 2021 not only made history, but allowed our state — and our country — to start making historic progress. Without our victories in the Senate runoffs, we wouldn’t have passed the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill, or even been able to hold a vote on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court!
But if Sen. Reverend Warnock loses this race, we lose the Senate and the ability to make even more progress. And the news is dire: Every major political expert considers this race a TOSS-UP, and CNN even called Sen. Reverend Warnock the “most vulnerable Democratic senator.”
