John,
The 2022 election season is upon us. And with voter suppression laws enacted in 19 states seeking to disenfranchise low-income voters and voters of color, we’re fighting back.
This coming Tuesday at 8pm ET (5pm PT), we’re partnering with our allies at Vote Forward for a virtual letter-writing party. We’ll be sending handwritten letters to historically underrepresented communities, helping and encouraging folks to make their voices heard!

RSVP
After you RSVP, you’ll be prompted to create an account with Vote Forward (it only takes a second). On Tuesday night, you’ll download and print 20 letters to write at the event. You’ll need 20 stamps, a blue pen (blue because that won’t look like the letters have been photo copied), and 20 standard sized envelopes (#10 size).
We’ll be adding handwritten messages to letter templates (not postcards) and will be using nonpartisan messaging. We’re simply encouraging people to make their voices heard and vote on the issues that matter most to them.
If you can’t join us this Tuesday, can you chip in to our critical voter outreach efforts? We’re currently hiring more staff to reach voters in marginalized communities.
DONATE
Together, we’re helping low-income communities and Black and brown voters make their voices heard and fighting back against voter suppression laws that are threatening our democracy.
Thank you,
