UP FROM CHAOS. JD spoke at American Moment’s Up from Chaos conference about the consequences of record-high inflation and NATO weaknesses. Fox News covered it.
"Part of being a global power is having a safe and strong country at home. Right now, we don’t have either,” said JD.
PRIORITIZE THE U.S. JD penned an op-ed in The Columbus Dispatch this week calling out opponents Josh Mandel and Mike Gibbons for supporting a no-fly zone over Ukraine. In part he writes:
Both of these repeat candidates have embarrassed themselves in recent Ohio debates in various ways, but the most telling signal for America First voters is their full-throated advocacy for a no-fly zone in Ukraine, enforced by our NATO European partners.
For Gibbons and Mandel to support such escalation signifies how unthoughtful and reckless they are in their positions. Their stance disqualifies them on its face and would jeopardize American lives while likely transforming a clearly regional conflict into a global war.
OUR OWN BORDER CRISIS. JD penned an op-ed in The Federalist about the full-throtted focus on Ukraine at the expense of our own problems here at home. In part the article says:
We are now in the second week of around-the-clock obsession by U.S. media and political leaders about Ukraine. The rhetoric has grown increasingly alarming, and the media reports are increasingly detached from reality.
Amid the imagery of horrific war and carnage in Ukraine, Biden’s open borders have unleashed significant carnage in our own country that has received far less media coverage. America has a border crisis, to be sure, and it’s not some shifting demarcation 6,000 miles away, it’s our very own southern border.
It’s insulting to our own citizens, and strategically stupid, to devote billions of resources to Ukraine while ignoring the problems in our own country. Let’s stop doing it, and force the American leadership to answer the question of who they actually care about.

WITH BOB BURNEY. JD spoke with Bob Burney Live! this week about his campaign. Bob said of JD’s opponents:
"I despise the mudslinging ads, and a couple of your opponents have really gone down and dirty. And I'm talking Republicans...two of your opponents almost got into a fist fight...I said on the air, JD Vance won the debate, because you didn't get involved in that." - Bob Burney
WITH ERIC METAXAS. JD joined The Eric Metaxas Show this week to talk about a number of issues, including the issue of transgender women competing in women’s sports:
"I think the simple thing we have to do is actually change Title IX so that biological males can't compete in girls' sports. It really destroys the entire enterprise of girls' sports...This is fundamentally an assault on male and female as God and nature have us,” said JD on the show.

dominated in the latest debate this week and laid out solutions to addressing our spiraling illegal immigration crisis.
“We need finish Trump’s border wall…We need to declare the Mexican drug-cartels a terrorist organization…And the final thing we need to do is stop giving welfare to people that come into this country illegally,” said JD.
