An end to Title 42 is finally in sight – but migrants and asylum seekers are still at risk.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

After a long journey to our southern border, asylum-seeking children should be met with hope and compassion – not fear and uncertainty. Tell President Biden: it’s time to implement more humane immigration processes for families in need.

Hi John,

Since March 2020, the U.S. government has shamefully expelled over 1.7 million migrants and asylum seekers under the controversial Title 42 policy.

Yesterday, President Biden announced that this order will end soon – but until then, more vulnerable children and families will be sent back to imminent danger.

During the phase out of Title 42, the Biden administration must ensure that every asylum seeker is treated with dignity and respect – especially children. Urge President Biden to protect migrants’ basic human rights immediately as Title 42 is fully phased out.

While we commend yesterday’s decision to finally put an end to this cruel policy, we are also concerned about the lives and futures that will be at risk in the meantime.

For over two years, asylum seekers have been forced to return to food insecurity, political upheaval, devastation from natural disasters and brutal violence in their home countries. Many others have been waiting in unsafe locations on the Mexican side of the border. This instability is especially damaging for kids – both mentally and physically.

As the policy comes to an end, the Biden administration must immediately uphold its promises to create a more just system by ensuring the safety and dignity of migrants, halting all expulsions of asylum seekers to danger and working in close coordination with groups and communities who stand ready to welcome them.

John, children and families in need deserve protection today, not nearly two months from now. Send a message to President Biden: we must ensure that all asylum seekers are treated with respect and compassion while Title 42 is still in place.

Thank you for being a voice for kids,
