Thank you very much for your support of the needy in the war in Ukraine, and for all of your prayers and your help.
Millions of people have been forced to flee Ukraine, mothers and children, older people leaving behind all their lives and their loved ones... shocked by the madness of the war.
Those people have encountered your helping hand in a moment of extreme need. Thanks to people like you, we've been able to raise thousands of euros that now are making their tragedy a bit more bearable.
I can only say, once again... THANK YOU!
Thanks to your financial support and prayers, we have been able to donate 150,000 EUR to Caritas organizations helping those in need in the front line!
We donated 30 000 Eur to each of the following organisations: Caritas Spes and Caritas Mukachevo in Ukraine, Caritas in Poland, Hungary and in Slovakia who are doing their best to overcome the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
“We are grateful for all the donations CitizenGO members have given, helping us to ensure that our fellow human beings who are in danger or have been forced to flee are provided with basic needs and longer-term care,” Caritas-Spes Ukraine wrote in their thank-you letter.
“We are primarily involved in helping the victims of the conflict. We primarily help children living in places close to bombed or occupied areas,” they pointed out.

Mukacsevo Diocesan Caritas (in Eastern Ukraine) was also very grateful for the donations of CitizenGO members.
“Our main job right now is to help and supply the hundreds of thousands of refugees from Inner Ukraine who are coming to this area and also help the local population in need,” they told us.
By your donations, we could also help the Polish, Slovakian and Hungarian Caritas organizations, which are mainly involved in helping refugees.
Our local team members gave them your donations personally. (You can find a photoalbum of their actions here HERE.)

It’s good to know that your contributions are tremendously impactful because we donate directly to the Caritas organizations working on the ground and not to some bureaucratic agencies.
Thank you again for working with us to get essential resources to the frontlines of the war in Ukraine. Of course, doing good is its own reward, but the refugees and displaced persons affected by the cruelty of war have benefited greatly by your charity.
We look forward to the day, hopefully someday soon, when the hostilities will end.
May God bless you.
Yours sincerely,
Owen Stevens
