We need your help!

But first we want to share some huge campaign wins that only happened entirely because of all of you.

On Tuesday our fantastic Every Australian Counts supporters descended on Canberra to launch the #DefendOurNDIS campaign.

To kick off the campaign we rallied with some of our supporters to deliver a huge open letter to Parliament ahead of the Budget. We met with politicians including opposition leader Anthony Albanese and Shadow Minister for Disability Bill Shorten—as well as Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes, and Greens Senator Jordon Steele-John—to let them know about the unfair and unexplained NDIS plan cuts thousands of people with disability across the country have been telling us about.

Just hours after our rally in Canberra, the NDIS Bill passed through the Senate - with new changes based on your feedback. Soon we will share a proper run down of what exactly passed, and what it means for us. But in short, the worst bits of the bill were dumped. And that’s because of the hundreds of thousands of emails you sent to let our politicians know how devastating the changes would be. Thank you!

Let's keep showing politicians the power we have when we come together.

Here's how you can help:

1. Come along to an online rally! We have eight of them coming up across the country next week. Register for our rallies and share them with your communities [[link removed]].

2. Order a #DefendOurNDIS sticker or a red Every Australian Counts t-shirt [[link removed]] to show the world we won't let the NDIS be compromised.

3. Sign our pledge [[link removed]] to take part in our National Day of Action coming up on 28 April, and get your friends and family to do the same!

Together, our actions will send a clear message to our political leaders that our community cares about the future of the NDIS - and if they want our votes at the federal election, it would be wise to act on and listen to all of your ideas and concerns.
