The Oscars are over.
But the writers of Oscar-nominated Don’t Look Up are still on a mission to educate the public and save the Earth…and they are joining PCCC members and Senator Elizabeth Warren for a special national Zoom this coming Wednesday.
Don’t Look Up was nominated for a Best Film Oscar and highlights the perils of the climate crisis and the consequences of inaction.
On this Zoom call hosted by the PCCC, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Oscar-nominated Don’t Look Up writers Adam McKay and David Sirota will join PCCC members across the country for a panel discussion that marries pop culture, oil politics, Russia politics and the war in Ukraine, and the climate crisis.
The topic is: How to turn climate awareness into ACTION (and smart 2022 messaging).
This event is part of a joint campaign launched recently by the PCCC and nearly 100 organizations calling on Democratic leaders to advance this clear, popular, on-offense message:

Our dependence on fossil fuel empowers authoritarians like Vladimir Putin, rogue oil-producing nations, and price-gouging oil companies.
