Democrats, there’s a lot riding on the 2022 Midterm Elections including our fundamental right to vote.

Since the 2020 election, Republicans have launched a shameless campaign to curtail voting rights across the country. As of mid - February, Republicans have introduced 253 bills that would restrict voting rights across 43 states. [[link removed]]

According to the Brennan Center for Justice, GOP-led restrictive voter suppression laws are on the horizon in 2022. These laws will seek to disenfranchise people of color and redraw both state and congressional voting districts to silence voters of color. In light of this, the Democratic Party is more committed than ever to defending democracy against these unfounded attacks.

We need your help! The application for the Truth Squad Training Program is now open Thursday, March 24 to Monday, April 13. We are looking for activists fluent in all languages including Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean and more .

What is Truth Squad?

The California Democratic Party is launching its Vote 2022 CADEM Truth Squad program to fight back on misinformation about voting and voting rights. We’re looking for activists like you to join our program who we will provide with training and tools in multiple languages to fight the republican disinformation campaign. This program includes required training (held on April 14, April 22, and April 29, 2022), call to actions, and a commitment to ensure that you’re part of our mission to share the truth about voting.
