Dear John,

This week, simultaneously in North Carolina and Wisconsin, poor and low-income moral leaders issued an urgent call to the nation to join us on June 18 for a Mass Poor People’s and Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls! And, this weekend, we head back to DC to consecrate the ground 75 days ahead of June 18 and issue a groundbreaking report live from the National Press Club.

On Sunday, April 3, at 10am Bishop William J. Barber II will deliver “The Moral Mandate for a Mass Poor People’s Low Wage Workers’ Assembly” during morning worship at National City Christian Church. Afterwards, on Monday, April 4, live from the National Press Club, the Poor People’s Campaign will release a groundbreaking report on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on poor and low-income people titled, “Poor People’s Pandemic Report.” The Campaign will move from the Press Club to consecrate the ground where we will gather poor and low-income leaders from across the nation on June 18.

Forward together, not one step back!
