Okay, that was a bit of an April Fools' joke.

But with all eyes on North Carolina and the greatest rivalry in college sports, we did want to poll this team to find out who you will be cheering for tomorrow. Are you rooting for UNC or Duke?

Sorry that we don’t have some secret psychic power to share tomorrow’s final score.

If Cheri could spare you another 24 hours of nerves, anxiety, existential dread, or whatever it is you’re feeling ahead of tomorrow’s big game, we promise she would.

But instead, consider this a permission slip for North Carolinians to be a bit insufferable about the greatness of our state and this rivalry. Never before have these legendary teams, separated by a mere 8 miles, met in the NCAA tournament. Coach K’s last season. Hubert Davis’ first season.

It’s a historic moment in a year meant for Team Blue to make history in North Carolina.

So who will you be cheering for and which shade of blue will you be wearing tomorrow when the Blue Devils and Tar Heels take the court?

No matter what happens, our position on this is very clear: we are going to come together to make sure Team Blue wins in North Carolina in November (all shades of blue welcome)!
