As expressed in this moving New York Times profile, the victims of the recent terrorist attacks across Israel represent the broad diversity of Israeli society. 

Among those murdered were an Israeli teacher, a Druze police officer, two Arab-Israeli police officers, two Ukrainian nationals, a rabbi, and several other Israeli citizens who left behind parents, spouses and children.

President Biden expressed condolences in a phone call with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Wednesday – pledging "all appropriate assistance to our Israeli allies as they confront threats to their citizens" – along with many public statements from members of Congress and administration officials throughout the week.
