We all want the pandemic to be over.

But the pandemic won’t end anywhere until it ends everywhere.

Which means that vaccinating the world is not just a humanitarian imperative but in the national self-interest.

President Biden has asked Congress for $5 billion to address global Covid needs – already far too little.

Now, Congressional Democrats and Republicans are currently in the middle of negotiations over a new spending package to fight COVID-19.

And they may eliminate funding for global Covid altogether.

The United States has the power to stop needless deaths and disease in poorer countries while preventing further resurgences of the pandemic here at home.

Failing to use that power would be unconscionable and cruel.

Send a message to your members of Congress telling them to provide funding to make the United States an arsenal of vaccines for the world.

Remember: No matter how well we manage the pandemic in the United States, we’re still under threat as long as COVID-19 continues to spread across the globe and mutate into new variants.

We must share vaccine technology and provide the support poorer countries need to vaccinate their own populations.

Congress could wrap up negotiations on funding to fight COVID-19 any moment now, so we need your help. Even if you’ve contacted your members of Congress before, it’s essential they hear from you again. Take a minute or two to send a message to Congress right away >>

Together, we must help vaccinate the world and get the global pandemic under control.

I’m glad you’re a part of this fight with us,

George Salvat
