Dear John,

Besides the bride and groom, few people get to see, experience, celebrate, and participate in as many special moments of a wedding as the wedding photographer.

From the first look to the final send-off, good wedding photographers invest in capturing the emotions and moments that make weddings so special. Through their photographs, they have the privilege of telling a story about the couple’s love and taking part in the sacred ceremony when the groom and bride become husband and wife.

But in Louisville, Kentucky there is a law that threatens wedding photographers with financial penalties, court orders, and required compliance reports if they dare to choose which stories to tell—and which events to invest their time and talents in celebrating.

Thankfully, one brave photographer is taking a stand against this government overreach…
