Good evening!

The TBG Committee invite you to join with us and fellow patriotic people at our forthcoming annual dinner.

After the party leader and government finance minister Martin Helme spoke brilliantly to us at a previous TBG conference, now their Deputy Party leader Jaak Madison will be joining us this May to give his thoughts on the European situation at one of our prestigious banquets in Central London.

Mr Madison is a leading member of the 'Identity and Democracy' grouping in the EU Parliament (which includes National Rally (FN), Alternative For Germany, Danish People's Party, Lega, Finns Party etc.) with great links to their leading representatives and he sits on many committees within the EUP, trying to help rein in the EU's centralising tendencies.

Some of his recent calls in the Parliament itself have been for issues including:

1. Refugees: "refugee status for asylum is conditional and temporary...Syrians (should) return to their homeland, to rebuild the country."
2. LGBT: "Families and children have the right to grow up safe with their mother and father, and everyone else, whatever they want, live with whomever they want...two-year-olds can be taught sexual ideologies in kindergartens...funded by the European Union budget. And this is now the place for these ideologues here, when we talk about left-wing extremists or liberal extremists, it is a terrible crime"
3. Covid: "the European Commission is enjoying the ongoing crisis, as it is an excuse to offer a solution to the Member States, which is the granting of even greater powers to the EU. Is it not just a deliberately infected panic where people are being frightened by a virus that is killing everyone, even though we know today that the number of deaths is marginal compared to the total number of people infected?"
4. Ukraine: Ms von der Leyen (President of EU Commission) was six and half years Minister of Defence in Germany. Its military capacity was destroyed. Two weeks ago, Germany promised to give aid to Ukraine, but what came out? It doesn’t have it.
5. Brexit: I congratulate the British guys. The one thing I would like to mention is that the IMF was forecasting that the UK’s economy will grow in the two years after Brexit faster than the eurozone economy. So it means that all those Remainers were lying before Brexit.

And many more.

This will therefore be a great opportunity to hear about various geopolitical issues from inside continental Europe and the EU, find out how patriotic parties are growing across Europe and how the various leaders are positioning themselves to best take advantage of events and ask whatever questions you have on these issues and many more.

Appropriately as we are currently in the flush of springtime and TBG events are sloughing off the wintry Covid hiatus, we are back in full bloom. We therefore look forward to seeing many of you on May 21st in London for what promises to be an excellent evening and opportunity to recharge your batteries among good company in a wonderful cultural environment.
