Friend,

I have to tell you, our Quarter 1 donor wall is a sight to behold.

Over the first three months of 2022, over a thousand of you stepped up to support our campaign. Thank you.

I am so grateful to everyone who chipped in at the start of this year. As our district map changed, you enabled us to send thousands of postcards to new voters, open our new Campaign Coffeehouse, and prepare for the critical work ahead.

Thanks to you, we hit our big goal for the first official FEC end-of-quarter deadline of the year. But this campaign's power doesn't come just from one FEC report. More importantly, it comes from our people. My belief in what we can do together has never been stronger, so I want to talk about how we're going to build on our momentum after the first successful quarter of the year.

For one, we’re going to do what we do best: continue our efforts to reach voters. That includes the 30,000 folks who are new to our district and the hundreds of thousands who have been with us from day one.

We're going to keep inviting people out of their corners and into the conversation, so we can find common ground and pursue the common good.

And we're going to keep working together to hit our next fundraising goal, and the goal after that, to keep proving the strength of our campaign.

I've always been optimistic that we can do it, Friend.

We succeeded and sent a clear message: that even in 2022, you can win an election without taking a dime from special interests or resorting to the sky-is-falling rhetoric that’s become all too common in politics.

To everyone who chipped in, thank you for your generosity. To everyone who wanted to chip in but couldn't do so at this time, thank you for sticking with me.

Onward,

Dean
