john, I’ve got some critical news to share with you this morning. But first, I wanted to say thank you.
Thanks to the support of this incredible grassroots team across Minnesota and the country, we surpassed our campaign’s fundraising goal for the FEC quarter. You came up big for us, and it’s going to have a big impact on our ability to defend the Senate. I’m so grateful to you for that.
But I’m also reaching out to you with some bad news out of Arizona, where that state’s Republican governor just signed an extreme 15-week abortion ban into law.
It’s among the most restrictive in the country, like the Mississippi law the Supreme Court is considering this term that could overturn Roe v. Wade for good.
So while you’ve been receiving heaps of fundraising emails the last few days, I’ve got a slightly different ask that’s going to have an immediate impact for women in Arizona who critically need abortion access now.
Will you rush a donation to the Abortion Fund of Arizona today? 100% of your donation will go to provide direct access to reproductive care on the ground with this group in Arizona.
I won’t mince words — Roe is in real jeopardy. And while it’s essential that the Senate confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, we will still face a conservative-majority Court.
That’s why I’m laser-focused on defending and expanding our Senate majority — so we can abolish the filibuster, expand the Supreme Court, and pass the Women’s Health Protection Act once and for all.
But before we can do that, there are thousands of women in Arizona right now who need our support.
Pitch in to the Abortion Fund of Arizona to get women the critical access to abortion care they need today.
As the only U.S. Senator who has worked at Planned Parenthood, I know firsthand how important access to the full spectrum of reproductive care is. And that’s why I will never stop fighting to protect it.
