Recently, I emailed you and told you we have to shake things up to flip Iowa from red to blue.

You’ve probably noticed a slew of terrible policies coming from states recently. From Texas’ 6-week abortion ban to the ban on mask mandates here in Iowa, Republican State Legislatures are passing extreme, draconian laws to placate their Trump-base.

Republicans are using state legislatures to enact their right-wing fantasies, and that is why our work to stop them and elect more Democrats at the state level is so important.

I’m asking you to make a contribution of any amount today, even $1 helps. When you donate today, you’ll be helping us build a strong foundation that will allow us to fight back, flip crucial Iowa Senate seats in 2022, and build the critical organizing infrastructure to retake our state.

An investment in our organization is not just an investment in our state Senate campaigns— it’s an investment in all Democrats here in Iowa. A recent study showed that down-ballot Democrats in state legislative races improved Joe Biden’s performance by up to 1.5% in 2020. That’s a higher percentage than his margin of victory in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia.

When you contribute to us, you’re funding the backbone of the Democratic Party in a swing state like Iowa. We need your help to fund our on-the-ground work registering new voters, talking to swing voters, and turning out Democrats so we can win critical U.S. Senate and House races as well.

We plan to target strategic seats to fight back against Republican control of the Iowa legislature— but we need the resources to do this effectively. That means early investments from grassroots donors like you to help us fund on-the-ground organizing, register more voters, and get our message out all across the state.
