John,
We often write about how your dollars lead to change for the better. Donations from the community are why o2 Utah has made such progress in the fight for clean air. As Utahns begin to shake off winter, I want to invite you to see your dollars at work and learn more about how your voice will lead to better environmental outcomes in our state.
Because of the ongoing support from community donors, our team has the capacity to work alongside some incredible organizations on issues like renewable energy. In partnership with the Utah Sierra Club and HEAL Utah, we have organized Action Night for 100% Clean Energy Communities, and you’re invited!
23 communities in Utah are eligible to participate in the first-of-its-kind Utah Community Renewable Energy Program (C-REP). Communities could receive 100% clean energy by 2030 through a program that partners with local utilities to acquire new, locally sourced clean energy projects.
On May 31st, eight cities are at risk of losing their eligibility for the program. If you live in West Valley City, West Jordan, Orem, Oakley, Kamas, Coalville, Emigration Canyon, or Bluffdale -- your voice is desperately needed.
Our ability to work with community partners on critical issues is only made possible by the generosity of supporters like you. Please consider donating $10, $25 or $50 to o2 Utah so that our team can continue organizing events that elevate the voice of our community. Your donations allow our team to be on the ground in these communities, rallying for clean energy.
Thank you in advance for your support.
