It's not too late to tell your Congressman to vote NO Dear John, Congressional leadership have scheduled a vote on a bill to legalize marijuana today. With rising levels of drug use and crime, this is a bad idea at a very bad time. This legislation has NO public health guardrails and is a blank check to Altria and the Big Tobacco industry. WRITE & CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES NOW: Tell them to vote NO on this misguided bill. The fact is, marijuana commercialization is nothing more than social injustice, as it only serves the monied interest of Big Pot lobbyists, addiction corporations such as Big Tobacco, alcohol conglomerates, and the investor class that overwhelmingly make up the marijuana industry. Tell them that with a slew of recent data showing dramatic increases in youth use of high potency marijuana products, and rising rates of marijuana-impaired driving, we simply cannot afford to expand Big Pot. This bill is dead on arrival in the Senate, but our voices must be heard loud and clear: legalization would unleash another public health crisis on our nation... in the middle of a an addiction crisis. The iron is hot, the time to strike is now! Thank you for all that you do, Dr. Kevin Sabet President & Co-Founder Smart Approaches to Marijuana Action (SAM Action) ICYMI: Tell Congress to vote NO on the MORE Act. Please take action today by clicking here to send your representative in Congress an urgent message telling them to oppose this Big Pot push.
