"Please Explain"
Behind the Scenes

Pauline Hanson's Please Explain

Behind the Scenes of 'Please Explain'.

The 'Please Explain' series was only ever slated to run for 20 episodes, but we had so much fun making it we couldn't stop without giving everyone a little taste of what went on behind the scenes.

We hope you enjoy this little peek behind the curtain and we hope you have found all 20 episodes of Pauline Hanson's Please Explain entertaining and informative.

Click on ScoMo above to play this week's episode.

And remember, you can also watch our election special, 'How to Vote Responsibly' narrated by Australian television and radio icon John Burgess, or rewatch all the Please Explain episodes here on our website.

We always enjoy reading your comments on YouTube. It's great to see the responses and the interactions. Thank you for your support:

"These are so Funny. They should make this and evening cartoon on mainstream television. Hold everyone to account...fact is far better than fiction. If these people know that they will be judged on a weekly basis by this cartoon.. they may actually do better. I doubt it, but, it's worth a shot." (Maxx Well Being)

"Looking forward to more. Keep the bastards honest Pauline. You have my vote(N Strang)

"Glad you're "not going bloody anywhere" Pauline. The election series is going to be awesome..." (health record)

"This is the best political (on point) satire since "how green was my cactus". The only politician to bring a smile to people, given all the doom and gloom & damage the state premiers and fed (lib, lab) gov has done. This deserves federal funding in the budget" (Dieter Brekhaus)

"Don't you bloody go anywhere Pauline Hanson. The Country needs you! You have my vote this election 👍👍👍 Keep these videos coming 🤣🤣🤣" (Carolyn Dee)

The Budget Reply Speech they didn't want you to see

From Senator Pauline Hanson

The Budget Reply Speech they didn't want you to see

This week, the Liberal/Nationals and Labor voted to take away the ability of minor parties and crossbench Senators to deliver a budget reply on the floor of parliament.

Thankfully I still have the ability to speak with you directly through social media and I refuse to let the Liberals or Labor silence my alternate vision for this nation.

This is the budget reply they didn't want you to see because they are terrified that One Nation's vision will expose them for what they are.

They are short-sighted and desperate with nothing real to offer.

Thank you for taking the time to listen and I hope that you will consider supporting One Nation at the next federal election.

Opposing COVID Vaccination in Children 0-4 years

From Senator Malcolm Roberts, Queensland

Opposing Vaccination in Children 0-4 years

The health minister has quietly released that children from the age of 0-4 years will be made eligible for the injury compensation scheme.

The risk of COVID death to children this age is almost statistically non-existent, what is the point of doing this?

We must oppose the injection of children under 4 years old.

I shouldn't even have to say this, yet except for Pauline Hanson and I the entire Senate voted down my amendment protecting children from the jabs after it was revealed Greg Hunt would be adding them to an injury compensation scheme.

This Parliament should hang its head in shame.

End Vaccine Mandates in NSW

From The Hon. Mark Latham MLC, New South Wales

Mark Latham

The new South Australian Labor Government has ended the vaccine mandates for teachers.

The science can’t be any different in NSW.

It’s time to end them here, to get teachers working again and end the critical school staff shortages across the State.

Extension of QLD's Emergency Powers

From Stephen Andrew, MP for Mirani QLD

State of Tyranny

The Bill extending the ongoing use of emergency powers passed earlier today.

It did so amidst the deafening roars of Queensland’s furious citizenry, outraged at the state’s ongoing slide into tyranny.

The second reading vote (the one that counts) was held at 5.22pm.

The final result of the second reading was 82 votes in favour and 5 against.

The five 'NOs' were myself, all three members of the Katter Australia Party, and the Independent Member for Noosa, Mrs Sandy Bolton.

When push came to shove, however, not a single member of the LNP found it within themselves to oppose the Bill until the 3rd reading when a division was called and the opposition changed their vote to end up 48 Ayes to 36 Noes.

Despite many admitting in their speeches that they had been flooded by people begging them to vote against it, this wasn’t until the 11th hour.

A few even acknowledged that the vast majority in their electorates were opposed to it.

The debate had earlier been 'guillotined' by Labor, denying many members, including myself, from getting a chance to speak on the Bill.

I will post a copy of it later so anyone interested can read what I planned to say.

It was a gut-wrenching end to a gruelling week in Parliament.

Never was the Government’s hubris and arrogance more on display than it was today.

Studiously ignoring the stormy protests outside, one after another stood up and proceeded to gaslight the hell out of Queenslanders opposed to the Bill.

Instead of acknowledging people’s concerns, frustration and anger, or recognising what many have gone through the last two years, one Member said haughtily:

"I am sure all members of Parliament have been hammered by the anti-vaxxers who have gone down a rabbit hole with Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine."

I can only imagine how all those Queenslanders who fought so long and hard to stop this Bill must be feeling.

On a positive note, I want to thank my fellow crossbench members, Sandy Bolton, Robbie Katter, Shane Knuth and Nick Dametto.

All four were absolute standouts this week. Their electorates are lucky to have them.

All day today the chamber was filled with the sound and fury of the people of this great state.

By the time the vote was taken, MPs were struggling to be heard above the din.

I am willing to bet that nothing remotely like it has ever been seen before in Queensland.

Oh, I know we have had riots and protests before, but not like this.

This phenomenon of ordinary Queensland citizens taking to the streets in numbers too big to ignore is completely unprecedented.

Everyday Mums and Dads, small business owners, tradies, truckers, emergency workers, nurses, teachers, sole traders, defence force staff, firefighters and pilots—these are the people who have drawn a line and said enough!

People who were once regarded as the backbone of this nation... described as 'a minority group' by the Health Minister today.

I salute them all!

Every last one!

State News: WA

Campaign Launch

Paul Filing

Paul Filing, Lead Senate Candidate from WA launched his Campaign on Wednesday night to an enthusiastic sold-out crowd.

When addressing the audience, Paul echoed Senator Hanson by outlining the damages that a Union Led Labor party would cause to Australia. Highlighting issues such as mass inflation, industrial chaos that would be caused by unrestrained Unions, and the continued erosion of Australian Freedoms from more mandates, more lockdowns and more bureaucratic influence over small businesses.

Paul also took aim at the so called 'Conservative' government with their push for Net-Zero policies and Scott Morrison's inability to control the premiers during the COVID-19 'Emergency' response.

But his speech wasn’t all doom and gloom. Paul highlighted the actions being taken by One Nation Senators, Pauline Hanson and Malcolm Roberts, in blocking legislation from the Liberal Government, pushing for a Royal Commission into the COVID-19 'Emergency' response, and Senator Hanson’s bill to finally outlaw mandates once and for all.

His address finished with a rousing applause from the sold-out crowd.

State News: SA

From Jennifer Game, State Leader

Sarah Game

A One Nation Candidate for the Legislative Council in South Australia is likely to win a seat.

This would be the first time a One Nation SA candidate has been elected and our state supporters are getting ready to celebrate, while the Greens, predictably, are very upset.

Despite issuing media releases explaining our position; that our candidate Sarah Game, a mother and veterinarian, will not be speaking with the media until the votes are counted—estimated to be late April—there's still been considerable media attention.

The ABC published this story www.abc.net.au/news/2022-03-29/sa-sarah-game-candidacy

We will keep you posted on the SA election results so stay tuned.
