Hi John – I'm bumping the email (below) of one of this campaign's best supporters: my husband, Daniel. We are facing one of the most urgent moments of this campaign: after Washington Republicans attempted and FAILED to have me thrown off the ballot, they've launched a nonsense lawsuit in another desperate attempt to kick me off the ballot. They are truly scared we're going to defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley (R), and honestly? They should be. With you on our team, we will defeat him.

John, it means so much to Daniel and me to have you as part of this grassroots team. As Iowans, we've seen firsthand how bad Sen. Chuck Grassley has been for our friends and neighbors. That's why we cannot allow the GOP to get away with pathetic, partisan games that would allow Sen. Grassley to coast to an eighth term in office. Hi John,

It’s Abby’s husband, Daniel. I wanted to give you an update on Abby and her campaign after the vicious attacks they experienced this week. Over the weekend, Republican elites launched an orchestrated attack to have her removed from the ballot.

They lost their challenge. Thanks to supporters like you, our campaign was ready to take on this fight and came out on top. Can you rush $5 now to show the GOP just how strong we are and help defend this campaign from further attacks?

Truth is, they’re scared: scared to have a 33-year-old woman running against an 88-year-old man (who both Republicans and Democrats can agree has spent too damn long on Capitol Hill).

They’re scared because they’ve seen what she can do. In 2018, she became the youngest woman EVER to flip a congressional seat from red to blue and she fought every day in the U.S. House for Iowa’s working families. 

They’re scared because they know that she can beat him. And they should be scared. Abby’s the strongest person I know. In 2020, she faced countless attacks from D.C. Republicans who were willing to lie and say anything to defeat her reelection campaign. 

It was disheartening. They spewed lie after lie about her – and they won. But instead of giving up, instead of backing down, Abby stood up for Iowans and decided to run for the U.S. Senate. This week has been a tough one for our family. It was hard to see Republican elites launch these attacks at her yet AGAIN and to know that they’ll keep coming for her again and again and again.

We need to be prepared. The GOP has a $41 million war chest ready that they're ready to use to intimidate candidates like Abby – can you donate $5 now to raise another 1,784 donations and make sure we’re prepared?
