Tonight’s fundraising deadline will be one of the most important ones of my entire career - and I’ll be frank, we’re very behind where we need to be. This is the first deadline of the year, and it sets the tone for the rest of the campaign. We’re running in one of the most competitive seats in the country and we can’t show any weakness to the Republicans coming after us.

If we fall short, we’re in trouble.

With only a razor-thin majority in the House right now, Republicans could not be closer to taking control of Congress and handing the Speaker’s gavel over to Kevin McCarthy. We can’t let Republicans take control, especially with Trump waiting in the wings for his 2024 run.
