I'll be the first to admit this was NOT the email I hoped to send you with
just a few hours until our Q1 deadline at 11:59 p.m.

I'm worried our numbers just aren't where they need to be to hit our
fundraising goal before midnight. To put it bluntly, we could be tracking
to fall short.

We set a different type of goal this quarter — one focused on the number
of donors and donations, not the amount of money. John and our team stand
by that choice, because we know people-power is how we win elections, not
huge checks cut by super PACs and corporations.

I’ll be honest with you though,
John: Our number of grassroots supporters are
skyrocketing, but the size of our average donation is crashing. Meaning,
we are just not raising as much money as we need to per donor.

which we can make up for lost time, close our fundraising gap, and stay on
track to beat the Republicans and help John Fetterman flip this Senate
