Thank you so much for your efforts to support my campaign. My team tells me we’re cutting it close on our end-of-quarter fundraising goal.

Earlier this week, we established that we needed 805 contributions at our average rate of $12.43 in order to hit our $10,000 end-of-quarter goal. As of right now, I believe we are hovering somewhere around the 340 mark.

This week marks our first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of 2022. In this critical midterm election year, Republicans are spinning a narrative that their victory at the polls is inevitable. All eyes will be on Democrats when we release our fundraising numbers in just a few days.

But here’s the current reality of this cycle: Republican narratives have discouraged Democrats already.

To be blunt, fundraising is down across the board. And that does not bode well for our chances of protecting and expanding our House majority.
