Hey, I wanted to give you one last update before our FEC deadline tonight at midnight. We’re about $2,000 short of our FEC goal, and I have three critical updates you need to hear about our race:

1. New polling shows me virtually tied with my opponent, and Michigan is one of the most important swing states in the midterm elections, which means House control could be decided here.


2. My far-right opponent just received a major boost from Trump at a Mar-a-Lago fundraiser, giving GOP mega-donors the signal to start padding his campaign with cash.


3. If we don’t raise $2,000 before midnight, we could risk having to cut our campaign budget. Then, we’d have fewer resources to fund our voter contact and paid media plans.

It’s not a great time for us to fall short. If you can chip in $5 before midnight tonight, it would really make a difference.
