I’ll be taking the stage for tonight’s debate in a few moments. I couldn’t be more thankful for this opportunity. It is truly an honor to be able to speak before a national audience as a candidate for President of the United States.

I’m also savoring the moment. I haven’t yet qualified for the next DNC debate in December and this could very well be my last debate.

I feel that I still have a lot to contribute to this race. Everywhere I go, we’ve seen a groundswell of support for our message and the values we’re fighting for. This is what inspires me to keep going, even when we have tough challenges ahead of us. I have every intention of winning this primary and becoming your Democratic nominee, but right now the DNC’s debate thresholds are a major obstacle that stands in our way.

My team tells me we’re only a few thousand donors short of the 200,000 we need to be on stage for the December debate.
