Spring is finally here and the Committee is looking forward to an exciting year! Alongside the bloom of cherry blossoms, that means it’s time for the annual tradition of welcoming our latest elected leaders on the GLASS Caucus Steering Committee!

Happy Hour on Thursday, April 14

Come celebrate April recess and the end of a far-too-long work period ​at a joint Happy Hour with LGBT-CSA, our House counterparts. The event will take place on Thursday April 14th, 5:30 pm to 8 pm​,​ at As You Are Bar​ in Eastern Market​, DC's newest queer bar.

The first hour of the event, 5:30 to 6:30 pm, will be intentionally set aside as an affirming space for folks who have experienced gender-based marginalization, including women, non-binary individuals, and trans men, but all individuals are welcome throughout the event. International Transgender Day of Visibility is today, March 31. Our hearts are with the trans community on the Hill and around the country. We see you and we stand with you.

DC 5K Pride Run is Friday, June 10, 2022. Today is the last day to register for $45. It will increase to $55 starting tomorrow, April 1. Information on the run and how to register can be found here.
