Democrats are so enamored with their ideologies that they ignore the terrible consequences of their policies. Environmentalism is good, so according to the left, anti-oil and gas policies are good. Police brutality is bad, so, they think, defunding the police is good. Never mind the soaring gas prices or record-breaking crime rates. They simply ignore the effects these policies have on our country.

That’s why the first question a policymaker needs to ask is, “does this better the country?” and NOT, “does this fit into my political agenda?”
