Starting December 13, I cannot accept any campaign contributions until spring. Any donations that we receive during that time must be returned.
 
Let’s be honest -- November is a difficult month to raise money. As you know, the Thanksgiving holiday falls at the end of the month, so we’ve pushed our monthly deadline up to this Friday to ensure we hit our goal.
 
This fundraising freeze does not apply to my opponent or to the Republican Attorneys General Association. RAGA is a serious threat to our race. They rake in unlimited donations from big corporations. During my first race for attorney general, they spent a record-breaking $3 million against me -- and after the work we've done this year, we can expect their investment to be even larger.
