People working in the crypto industry appear to favor Democrats heavily with their personal contributions. In the 2020 elections, crypto workers gave more than $730,000 in direct contributions to Democratic candidates and party committees, nearly nine times what they donated to Republicans, according to an analysis by OpenSecrets.
