Population Connection and Population Connection Action Fund hosted our annual joint advocacy event, Capitol Hill Days, virtually, from March 16-21. Each year, we bring together activists from across the country and world to talk about the intersections between global reproductive health access, environmental issues, and population growth.
Sessions blended hands-on advocacy training, informational workshops, and panel discussions. Participants learned about the connections between climate, population, and reproductive health and how to advocate for reproductive rights for all.
During the lobby day on Monday, March 21, participants attended virtual meetings with their senators and representatives to advocate for the permanent repeal of the Global Gag Rule, greater U.S. investment in international family planning programs, and increased funding for the United Nations Population Fund. |
