GOP attacks on our democracy in states like Georgia and Texas have been all over the news in recent months, but the truth is, we are up against many of those same sentiments right here in Delaware, too. |
The chair of the Delaware Republican Party recently published an opinion piece in which she called for restrictive and discriminatory voter suppression measures. She even calls for the rolling back of permanent absentee and Early Voting under the false pretense of “election integrity.” These Republican claims of voter fraud sow mistrust in our elections and have been repeatedly debunked. We can not let the GOP succeed in their efforts to restrict access to the ballot box, and that begins with electing Democrats who will always stand up for the right to vote.
