John,

It’s Haley from Governor Walz and Lt. Governor’s finance team.

Our first public fundraising deadline of the election year is at 11:59 pm, and as you can probably tell, we’re tracking our progress very closely.

Yesterday, it looked like we were on our way to reaching our $150,000 grassroots goal with room to spare – donations were surging! But today, they’ve slowed to a crawl. Here’s what I’m looking at in ActBlue right now:

We still have more than $10,000 to raise by midnight. There’s no way we’ll get there in time at this rate. Can you chip in any amount that works for you right away to help us climb back?

After tonight, all our year-to-date fundraising will be filed publicly for everyone to see – including our GOP opponents.

With polls showing several of our GOP opponents statistically tied with Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan, we had no choice but to set an ambitious fundraising goal – not just to regain our momentum but to build the campaign it’s going to take to win in November.

Please rush a contribution that works for you to help us surge back by 11:59 pm. Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have asked us to keep them up to speed as we close in on midnight. Your support would mean the world to them right now.

Thank you,

Haley Cobb
