John, we are taking a stand.

Today I announced that I will not be participating in the Franklin County Democratic Party primary endorsement process. In fact, I’m calling for the party to not endorse any candidate for this district.

Why? Because an endorsement from the party would fail to prioritize educating voters and would instead steer the election undemocratically towards a certain candidate.

We need you to stand with us, and show that a party endorsement is not the key to winning — it’s connecting with and forming a relationship with voters like you. Our power is in our numbers, chip in a donation today to strengthen our fight to make this election and every election more fair.

Earlier this month we started an online petition to request the FCDP to not endorse a candidate in this primary, and it received over 700 signatures. We delivered that petition to their office today. This community deserves to learn about their options and make their own opinions without being swayed by the Democratic party in this community.

Contribute to this campaign as we fight to put the power in the people to make their own choices without unfair, undemocratic and unprecedented influence.
