John,

I have about 15 minutes of free time in my schedule today. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot of time, but with a schedule like mine I can assure you it’s a gift.

I want to take a few of those minutes to tell you about my decision to run for Senate in the first place, and ask you to split a donation between my re-election campaign and CommonGood. Your support is so important to our success.

The truth is, when Gabby and I first started talking about running, we weren’t sure what to expect. We knew that Arizona needed new leadership in the Senate — someone who would always put the people of our state first, who was willing to work across the aisle to deliver real results, and who would prioritize building bridges between parties — not burning them down.

We also knew we had some friends who would help us out. But when you’re talking about such a big campaign, we’d need support from a lot of people we hadn’t met yet as well. Especially since I was making the decision to reject corporate PAC money.

You know the rest… we won in 2020 in large part because we ran the biggest grassroots campaign Arizona has ever seen.

But now we have a new mission: Re-election.

And right now, the polls are really tight. If we’re going to win again and keep control of the Senate, it’s going to take a similar level of grassroots support from people like you.

So please:

Will you split a $25 contribution between my re-election campaign and CommonGood? We can’t win and protect our Senate majority without your support.

Thank you again. For everything.
