I won my last race by exactly 4,533 votes.

Make no mistake: If I had lost to my Republican opponent, Nevada’s Attorney General office would have been used to carry out Donald Trump’s extreme agenda. 

Our victory in 2018 showed Nevadans a new vision for what their Attorney General’s office can do for them. Together, we’ve worked to promote and secure justice, equality, and opportunity for all Nevadans. We’ve fought to expand and secure the rights of working families in every corner of our state. 

Now, National Republicans and far-right special interest donors are targeting this seat. I’m one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for re-election this year, so Republicans are shoring up millions of dollars to defeat me and flip the AG’s office red. 

Our fundraising has slowed down significantly this month, and in a state with margins as tight as Nevada’s, coming up short on our end-of-quarter goal could mean losing this seat and handing this office back to Republicans.
