I was born into a working-class family. It wasn’t always easy, but it taught me to value hard work and community. Lessons that helped me raise my two daughters as a single father.

It’s those same lessons that guide me as Nevada’s governor. I come at this job with a real appreciation for the challenges Nevada families face each day.

That’s why, as governor, I fought to increase the minimum wage, reduce prescription drug costs, create clean jobs, and fund public education at an unprecedented level.

We can continue the work to help Nevada families. But right now, I’m up against a historic slate of MAGA opponents — the largest field of governor candidates in at least six decades!

A Republican governor will roll back all the progress we’ve made. If we’re going to defeat them, we have to meet every single one of our fundraising goals, and tonight is our first quarterly deadline of 2022. That’s one of largest fields in Nevada’s history — because they know that this race is a toss-up, and that they have a real chance in 2022 to control the majority of governorships nationwide.
