<[link removed]>Trans People Need Liberation Everyday!Happy Trans Day of Visibility Friend,
Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV) is about honoring the unapologetic existence of trans people. It promotes solidarity with the trans community and highlights the importance of trans folks being recognized, included, and even prioritized.
Remember to show some love to the trans people in your life today and every day. Trans folks are everywhere, but so is transphobia, so please be a strong ally and squash transphobia when you see it.
One small way you can help? Share your pronouns to normalize the practice of using folks accurate pronouns and not assuming. Correct people when they misgender folks. If you accidentally misgender someone, apologize and correct your mistake so that everyone can move forward together.
Today, join URGE in our commitment to celebrate & protect young trans people! Trans youth all over the South & Midwest need our support as their states entertain anti-trans legislation that would greatly impact their day-to-day lives if enacted.
As we celebrate TDOV today, my colleagues in Alabama, Kansas, Georgia, and Ohio are on the front lines of the fight against a relentless onslaught of anti-trans legislation in their states. These bills perpetuate transphobia and oppress trans youth by targeting their ability to participate in sports and receive health care. But, with your gift of $31, you can help us fight these bills. <[link removed]>

Celebrate Trans Day of Visibility by supporting Trans Liberation efforts at URGE. With your help, our work to support young trans and nonbinary people can continue. Trans folks, including trans children, deserve to live and thrive in a more just society in which they’re free to define and create families of their choosing.
In Solidarity,
Kai Gurley (they/he)
